Who are the volunteers on the church bus?
- Every volunteer is a faithful, background checked member of Marion Avenue Baptist Church with a heart for working with kids in southeast Iowa.
How much does it cost to ride on the church bus?
- It doesn’t cost anything. It’s a free program provided by Marion Avenue Baptist Church.
How old does my child have to be to ride on the church bus?
- Children must be at least 4 years old to ride on the bus unless accompanied by a parent.
Why does Marion Avenue Baptist Church run buses?
- Our mission is to help young people follow Jesus as we seek to make an impact in southeast Iowa through the gospel.
How do I sign up my child to ride the bus?
- You can sign up your child by contacting us using the link below. Once you’ve filled out a permission slip, one of our church bus volunteers will reach out to you about getting your child added to the bus pick up list.
What Will My Child Experience?
Pick Up and Drop Off
- We will pick up your children in front of your house.
We will take your children home, walk them to the front door, and drop them off with a parent.
Bus Program
- Every week your children will sing, play games, and learn about the Bible on the way to church.
At Church
- At Marion Avenue Baptist Church your children will be engaged through songs, games, and Bibles lessons in age group based kids classes.
